DuBois wins Riverbend Amateur

Ben DuBois of Fairwood Golf and Country Club won the championship of the 22nd annual Riverbend Amateur with a two-round total of 136. DeBois beat second-place finisher Erik Olson of Riverbend, who checked in with a score of 139 for the two rounds of the tournament.

Jamie Huo and Josh Shireman tied for third at 140 while Ahren Young and Ryan Welborn tied for fifth at 141 and Casey Adams and Tres Kirkebo tied for seventh at 143.

Broc Johnson and Danny Newton tied for ninth at 144 and Patrick Nugent came in 11th with a 146 score.

The tournament features a total field of 160 players for the two days and raised money for the Folds of Honor Foundation, which helps support families of fallen military heros.
