Port Ludlow Golf Course has been listed for sale for $3.5 million. Randy Verrue, managing member of the Port Ludlow Associates said they had planned to sell the course when they purchased it in 2001 and it has been on and off the market on an informal basis for many years. Their plan has been to restore the course back to top condition prior to offering it for sale.

Port Ludlow Golf Course was designed by the late Robert Muir Graves who had designed more than 75 courses around the country. It opened eighteen holes (The Tide Nine and Timber Nine) in 1975 and in 1992 the Trail Nine opened giving the course three nine-hole courses: the Tide, Timber and Trail. Economic conditions forced the owners to close the Trail Nine in 2009 with the hopes of reopening it in the future. The Trail Nine was considered the most difficult and, for many, the best of the three nines. The current plans will address the irrigation system, the greens and in general a complete restoration.
