LPGA Legends Tour comes to the Northwest at White Horse in June

The Legends Tour of the LPGA will hit the Pacific Northwest from June 8-10. The Legends Tour has announced that the Suquamish Tribe and Clearwater Casino Resort will host the first official tournament to be held in Washington State at its White Horse Golf Club in Kingston, featuring 30 Legends of the LPGA competing in a 36-hole stroke play tournament.

Jane Blalock, a 27-time champion on the LPGA Tour, founded the Women’s Senior Golf Tour in 2000. It is now known as The Legends Tour, the official senior tour of the LPGA that showcases some of the greatest names in the history of women’s golf who are age 45 or older.

The official list of ladies that have committed is not yet finalized but here is a list of some of the players that could participate: Meg Mallon, Juli Inkster, Rosie Jones, Laura Davies, Patty Sheehan, Jan Stephenson, Pat Bradley, Beth Daniel, Betsy King and Nancy Lopez.

The Suquamish Clearwater Legends Cup will be held at White Horse Golf Club, June 8-10, 2018. Acquired by the Suquamish Tribe in 2010, White Horse Golf Club is nestled on high ground between the Olympic and Cascade Mountains. With spectacular greens and friendly staff, this 18-hole golf course is very challenging, yet can still be played by golfers of all skill levels.

The Legends Tour is the official senior tour of the LPGA. The tour began in 2000 by LPGA professionals to showcase the talents of some of the greatest women’s golfers of all time.
