This straightforward Robert Muir Graves design takes golfers through a grand journey of the Oregon Cascades. Updated in 2007, Big Meadow features expansive fairways, newly renovated cape-and-bay bunkers, and elevated green complexes to challenge golfers of all skill levels.

Black Butte Ranch is also home to a 12-hole putting course, which opened for play in late 2020. The Little Meadow Putting Course was also designed by John Fought.

In 2023, Black Butte unveiled its newest amenity with the grand opening of its flagship $20 million Lodge, a 22,100-square-foot dining and meeting facility. The new lodge includes a restaurant and bar, second-floor lounge and bar, private dining room, event space, meeting room, outdoor dining, and state-of-the-art kitchen that includes a catering facility.
