PNGA Junior Girls Championship

Kelly Hooper of Spokane, Wash. defeated Jalayne Martinez of Pasco, Wash. 4 and 3 in the final match to win the 60th Pacific Northwest Junior Girls’ Amateur Championship.

The championship was held at RedHawk Golf Course in Nampa, Idaho, and was conducted by the Pacific Northwest Golf Association (PNGA).

During the 18-hole final match, there were several lead changes during the front nine, and the match stood at all square after 10 holes. But then Hooper won four of the next five holes to close it out with a par on the 15th hole.
