The Pacific Northwest will be well represented at this year’s PGA Championship as a trio of NW professionals survived rigors of the PGA Professional Championship, held at Omni Barton Resort and Spa in Austin, Texas.

Advancing to the PGA Championship at Southern Hills in Tulsa, Okla. are: Colin Inglis of Shadow Hills Country Club in Junction City, Austin Hurt of Wing Point Country Club in Bainbridge, Wash. and Tim Feenstra of Broadmoor Golf Club in Seattle.

The PGA Championship is scheduled for May 19-22 and is one of the four major championships on the PGA schedule.

The top 20 in the tournament qualified for the PGA Championship. Inglis finished tied for sixth, Hurt tied for 11th and Feenstra tied for 18th and survived a four for three playoff to advance. Also playing but missing the cut were Jason Aichele of the Tri Cities, Ryan Malby of Montana and Shane Prante of the Home Course.
